This 1 page (8.5 x 11) graphic organizer will allow your students to distinguish between direct and indirect characterization. The graphic organizer is done as a word document so that you will be able to edit it as needed.
I use each of the spaces as follows:
Characters thoughts (thought bubble)
Characters actions (hands and feet)
Characters feelings/emotions (heart)
Characters words (speech bubble)
Direct Characterization (scroll)
Super easy and students are able to visually see indirect and direct characterization in a variety of texts.
Great for grades 4-9
