This is the characterization presentation and lesson included with my "Raymond's Run" lesson ( "Raymond's Run" and Characterization Lesson
This could be use to meet RL7.3, RL 8.3, and RL9-10.3. It could also be used to meet RL6.1, RL7.1 or RL 8.1 when using evidence to support inference of character traits.
This was created to accompany the "Raymond's Run" lesson, so the text examples provided are from that story. However, the activities provided are generic to characterization and can be used with any stories. It's great to introduce characterization then bring back similar activities and materials throughout the year as your reinforce the concepts.
