Creating a realistic character takes practice! A visual description is a good start in making a convincing character; but to make a story believable, a writer needs to reveal a character’s likes and dislikes, emotions, life experiences, and history.
This product includes 32 image task cards (8 pages, 4 per page) which can be used to practice creating unique and interesting characters. The images are meant to inspire and to spark the student’s imagination. The goal is to help visualize a whole back story of who this person is.
There are also 8 question task cards with six questions each.
These cards can be used by independent learners or early-finishers, as well as pairs and small groups. For best results, color-photocopy on card stock, cut and laminate.
This product includes activity suggestions and task recording sheets.
