Product Description
This worksheet instructs students to first find examples of direct characterization for specific characters in the epic poem "Beowulf," and then tests their knowledge of indirect characterization by having students supply a quote from the poem as well as an explanation of their own that explains what that quote reveals about the character. An example of the latter is included on the worksheet for students' reference. This document could be easily adapted to any book that you and your students are reading.
