A 5 page document in which students explore how and why a character's feelings change throughout a story. There is a 5 day written plan that is easy to follow. The first day starts of with a visual representation of three pages from the story "Officer Buckle and Gloria." Students are asked to explain how Officer Buckle's feelings changed throughout the story. A student timeline is included where students record the characters feelings in the beginning, middle and end of the story as well as WHY they feel this way. Additionally, there is a written response and a rubric to score student's written response.
