Do you need help teaching author's perspective? Do you need to show students that changing the point of view can affect how the story is told, what the reader experiences and learns? Students will read some suggested twisted fairy tales that are very funny and engaging and then use either a current independent reading book or class novel to create a sunglasses craftivity in which they choose a new character and develop a section of the story from the new perspective!
This activity includes:
*teacher instructions and additional resources
*student rubric for craftivity
*large sunglasses template
*mini activity title poster: Character's Perspective Sunglasses
*sunglasses for classroom or bulletin board display
*student rubric for an extension activity of additional narrative writing: Imaginary Narrative or Fractured Fairy Tale story
*There is an option to purchase this craftivity as a google slides presentation for sharing with students online! See listing in my store!
*This can also be purchased as a bundle of BOTH the PDF version and the google slides link. See listing in store. If you need an editable version, please message me. Clipart is owned by another that requires restrictions of access. Thanks and enjoy!
