Product Description
In this 3-day lesson plan, students learn or review characterization versus caricatures by creating their own self-caricatures and then pit these caricatures against a mirror-image caricature. The lesson plan is formatted for Common Core 9-10 grade, but can also be used for any high school class. I've used it in 9th, 10th and 12th grades and students enjoyed it. I have included everything you could need including handouts for differentiation and suggested differentiation methods. These lessons can be used to begin a analysis unit, for review at the end of the semester and even as emergency substitute plans. Enjoy!
