This is a quick activity to practice Chargaff's Rule. Chargaff's Rule is fairly simple, but some students need more practice than just 1-2 problems.
The first part of the worksheet has students use a piece of a strand of DNA to confirm that the rule works. The second part of the worksheet is a few quick practice problems.
There are two versions of this worksheet provided. In the first there are 20 bases total, in the second only 10. Use the option with only 10 bases if you have students who struggle calculating percentages and may find it easier to calculate a percentage out of 10.
Use this to introduce Chargaff's Rule or as homework. Quick to do and quick to grade.
