This is a video guide handout for, "Peanuts: The Great Inventors". The video covers some of America's most important inventions with historically accurate information.
The video is from the series, "This is America, Charlie Brown".
It has been my experience that if students do not have anything to do during a video, they do not pay attention. However, if you have them take notes or answer questions with written answers, they are too distracted. The purpose of a video should be to enhance learned material. I use these questions as a guide to make sure students are paying attention, but in a format that is simple enough that they are able to absorb (and enjoy!) the information in the video. All they have to do is listen for the answer and circle/highlight it. This usually keeps them on their toes!
My 8th graders LOVE to watch this video!
Be sure to leave me feedback! It helps me and you!! Did you know you earn TPT credits every time you leave great feedback??
