Introduce your students to one of Roald Dahl's best-loved stories, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and then review grammar. Assign the R-E-A-D worksheets for homework and while checking your students' work, you will stimulate discussion of the story.
Six R-E-A-D worksheets (one for every five chapters) introduce 16 typical third and fourth-grade errors (one per sentence). Students can correct one sentence in each column or all four.
Charlie Bucket lives in a town where there is an enormous factory owned by a mysterious and quirky and inventive chocolate maker, Mr. Willy Wonka. Charlie wins a Golden Ticket and a chance to visit inside the factory along with four other children. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
reminds young readers about the importance of humility, obedience and respect.
