This activity packet bundle has everything you need to engage students in an in depth novel study of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The activity packet is printable in blackline master format to make it reproducible for student use. Students will be asked to analyze text, compare text-to-self, analyze and illustrate setting, redesign parts of the book, compare and contrast the book and movie, invent new ideas, create a new ending, investigate what happens after the story, sequence events, analyze problem and solution, and complete a character analysis.

As a veteran teacher I have read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory aloud to second graders for over 13 years and have had students dive deeper into the text with these activities.
