Charlotte's Web is a beloved classic novel about a friendship between Charlotte the spider and Wilbur the pig, and a Common Core exemplar text. Through this entertaining story, students learn about life on a farm in addition to important life lessons and themes like putting others before oneself and judging others based on their heart, not their physical characteristics. This book is perfect for teaching Common Core skills like character analysis, comparing and contrasting characters, identifying the mood of a section, describing a story's setting and how the setting affects the story, and analysis of author's craft.
This product is the perfect complement to the book, and contains Common Core based questions for every chapter as well as vocabulary activities. If you like this product, check out some of my other Common Core Reading Units:
