Chasing Vermeer Task Cards 65 Comprehension Activities

Petra and Calder attempt to find the missing Vermeer painting. These 65 stimulating comprehension activities make kids think out of the box. They're centered around Blooms Taxonomy. There are 13 cards, with 5 activities per card that can be used for written responses, or for discussion starters. They can also be used in small or large groups or as independent seat work. Having students work together to brainstorm for answers, creates lively discussions and often a better literal and inferential understanding of the novel and its components. Laminate these cards for future use.
