Check In Check Out (CICO) Procedures
Age/Grade: 3rd. – High School
Setting: School
Individual or Group: Individual
Tier: 2 & 3
Desired/ Appropriate Behavior: Homework completion, academic performance, reduction in office referrals
Skill Level: Fluency to generalization
The CICO program was developed as an efficient Tier 2/3 intervention for reducing problem behavior. CICO was designed to increase feedback and positive adult attention. Previous research has shown that CICO is an easy-to-implement behavioral strategy, effective to decrease Office Discipline Referrals and to increase
appropriate behavior. CICO has been shown to be a relatively
simple and inexpensive Tier 2 intervention. CICO has also been
shown to have relatively high levels of teacher and staff acceptability. Todd et al. (2008) has shown that typical school personnel were able to effectively implement the CICO intervention. Finally, Mong, Johnson, and Mong (2011) also found that CICO can increase academic progress for children.

Nice resource
Thank You
Very technical and thought out. Can't necessarily be used for every situation and I couldn't edit it to make it more of what I needed.
Was not as impressed with this product
I am sorry you were not impressed. Can you give more specific details so we can address your concern? Thank you!
