Product Description
What does check your work actually mean?

This checklist will explicity walk your students through each step of checking and revising their work. Teach your students what you mean when you say revise and check your writing!

This rubric teaches students what to look for when reviewing their wrting before handing it in. The rubric is designed for any student needing reminders or that has difficulty with written expression. I currently have a few of these laminated to assist my students with their written expression IEP goals, and those forgetful kiddos that just need something tangible to touch and check off as they review and revise their work. :)

Tip: Laminate, and use an expo or vis-a-vis to use over and over again.

Other Uses:
"To teach is to learn twice." - Joseph Joubert
Using this document, students are able to review other student's writing by making sure they have all of the parts on the checklist included in their writing.

I have left the document in word form so that it is simple to customize (if need be). (2 documents per page design to save paper)

Simple and it works!
