This packet contains 52 activity cards. All of the Dolch Primer words (all, am, are, at, ate, be, black, brown, but, came, did, do, eat, four, get, good, have, he, into, like, must, new, no, now, on, our, out, please, pretty, ran, ride, saw, say, she, so, soon, that, there, they, this, too, under, want, was, well, went, what, white, who, will, with, yes) are practiced. The Scrabble Cheez-It crackers are used with this activity and can be found at most grocery stores.
Spill about half the box of crackers on a tray and let the student search for the letters in the sight word. Once found, they are placed on the capital letter squares to spell the word. Each lowercase letter underneath is then traced and the student uses the word correctly in a sentence. Once this is completed, all the letter crackers are eaten!
The cards can be printed for individual use (in greyscale or color) or you may wish to print them on cardstock and have them laminated if you choose to use them with a Vis-à-vis marker in a center.
While this is a quick activity, your student is sure to enjoy it!
