PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this video (supplement to lab of same name), we take a look at the reaction between baking soda and vinegar, and its effect on a flame.

By taking what they know about fire (fire triangle), and the observations that they make during the lab, students will need to determine if this reaction does indeed create CO2 gas, as the chemical formula shows.

I use this video as a lab make-up video, but it can also be used for teacher instruction on how to do the lab, or for TAG/GATE students, as an extension assignment.
