Product Description
I created this quiz for my Grade 4 homeschooling to review and assess my student's understanding of the difference between chemical and mechanical actions.
Various common household and bodily actions are listed, which vary from mechanical actions like snowblower removing snow, cutting up food with a knife, filing off rust, chewing food, to chemical actions such as enzymes in saliva digesting starches in the mouth, vinegar dissolving mineral deposits from water, and dissolving grease on dishes with dish detergent.
Quick and simple to answer M (Mechanical) or C (Chemical), but could be used in chemistry, physiology or other classes and to provoke discussion about other actions in the home, body, and outside world.
