This activity is designed for students to differentiate between chemical and physical changes. The students will use the Ohio University virtual lab (link listed on the document) to look at scenarios and predict if it was a chemical or physical change. Once their prediction is made, they will be given the correct answer to see if they were correct.
There are 12 scenarios so the repetition is great for really showing the difference between the two types of changes.
Optional: Since we are using this for our weathering unit, the last page simply includes some real demonstrations that kids will be pulled up for while the others are working on the website.
