This is an exam for the first semester of chemistry. It is composed entirely of multiple choice questions. There are 183 questions. Topics covered are: metric system, significant digits, rounding with significant digits, calculating with significant digits, scientific notation, metric conversions, chemical and physical changes, matter, symbols of elements, density, atomic structure, models of the atoms, electron configurations, energy levels, orbitals, quantum mechanics, the periodic table, periodic properties, valence electrons, bonding, writing formulas and naming compounds.
This activity is appropriate for:
1) Students enrolled in physical science or chemistry.
2) Students in grades 9-12.
3) Students enrolled in a standard level course or an honors level course
You will receive both an editable Word document and a pdf version of the test.
