With this chemistry review 16-piece puzzle students use their chemistry knowledge to sort terms and definitions to put together the puzzle. This is a great active engagement and retrieval practice tool. While students' hands are sorting, their minds are questioning, organizing, and making connections!
There are two versions of the puzzle available - one that helps students identify the four central squares, and one that does not for a greater level of challenge. There are also two formats of each version - one that is correct and one that is jumbled (great for student cutting!). Check out the Preview file to get a glimpse. You can just print and use!
Major vocabulary to match includes: proton, neutron, electron, atomic number, mass number, amu, isotope, electronegativity, valence electrons, ionic bond, cation, anion, nonpolar covalent bond, polar covalent bond, hydrogen bond, reactants, capacities of electron shells, Bohr model, Lewis dot diagram
For single classroom only; not to be shared publicly.
