Product Description
This fun lab goes through 5 investigations which perfectly demonstrate the signs to look for when trying to determine if a chemical change has occurred. Students will react acids and bases to see the production of a gas, create an acid using their breath on a pH indicator which will demonstrate change of color, burn marshmallows to demonstrate combustion, change of color and change of odor, separate protein from milk to demonstrate production of a precipitate, and finally a demonstration which shows all of it together. They will answer questions at each station as well as diagram the equation showing the reaction and the law of conservation of matter.
