These half page practice worksheets are great for interactive notebook pages, exit tickets, quizzes, homework, or just extra practice!
The problem with textbook problem sets: they always have too few problems with questions focusing on different topics mixed up. Use my worksheets to help your students focus and practice one skill at a time.
Each page contains 2 of the same half page worksheet. All you need to do is print, copy, and cut with a paper cutter. The next page within the PDF is the answer key. You could easily print the answers on the back of the student copy if you wish. Or you could print two different student worksheets on the same piece of paper by selecting the desired page numbers when you print. I include a useful index page for you to refer to when printing.
Teaching Suggestions and Tips
My students keep unit folders (like those 10 cent ones with pockets) and they put in all their notes, labs, and practice problem half sheets. This way, they are less likely to get lost than if they cram them into a binder or spiral notebook. Students love having these to practice with before a test!
I like printing so that the student half sheets have blank backs. When I grade them, I require students to correct their work and write the reason for each correct answer on the back, for some credit back! I also have used the blank back to give challenge questions to early finishers.
