This is a great page to use to reinforce number sense and everyday math skills with students. The students are given a number of the day, or a number to focus on for the day. Then the students fill out the page using the number that was chosen.
In my classroom I have used this to reinforce several skills that still seem to confuse my students every now and then. They love this page and enjoy completing the page with a different number each day.
Included in this file is a number of the day sheet that can be used for numbers 1-10. The skills that are reinforced are number writing with handwriting lines, writing the number word, before and after, one more (+), one less (-), fill in the tens frame, tally marks, and the number line.
I have also included matching large display numbers that you can display in your room so that the students know what number they are to do for the day. I like to use these to differentiate my groups. Some groups may do a lower number, while other groups are expected to do a higher number based on their ability. You can make this page work for your classroom and for your student's needs!
I hope that you and your students enjoy this Angry Teacher Creation!
