Build letter and name recognition skills with a cute, classic, Back to School theme! Use the whole alphabet trees to let students match manipulative alphabet letters--a large, plain piece of construction paper or a file folder works well for a background and laminating makes it more durable. Use the name trees inside a plastic sleeve to let students practice matching the letters of their names, tracing them, and then work toward independent writing. When they finish, wipe it off and practice again the next day! Name trees are fully editable by clicking in the text boxes, however, if you're more of a Sharpie person, print out the blank name trees at the bottom and simply write your class list on the appropriate ones.
