PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Aligned with K-2 Common Core ELA Standards

The tale of Chicken Little is a classic, and in our opinion, quite effective when teaching about cause and effect relationships. This writing extension and craftivity invites students to answer the question, "What would you do if someone told you the sky was falling?". Students will need to demonstrate their understanding of the story's concept, reflect upon and connect to the main character's actions, and provide their own effect to the prompt's cause.

Included in this file are:
-photos of completed student craftivities
-1, 12x18 writing prompt poster
-1, 8 1/2 x 11 lined writing paper
-1, 8 1/2 x 11 page of character cut-outs to "build-a-Chicken Little"
-1 page projectable directions (visual reminder while students work)
-1, 12 x 18 display banner (to show story inspiration)

If you purchase this file, please remember to leave feedback. Also, be sure to come back soon to our store, PB&J, to find more Primary Based products that are Joyful for students and teachers!
