Product Description
A one page reading with one page of questions about the use of child labor/slavery on cocoa plantations in West Africa. Questions include reading comprehension, vocabulary from context and critical thinking. The reading includes three images used to raise awareness of the problem of child labor, and there is a writing assignment based on the effectiveness of those images. Another writing assignment is also included, in which students write a letter to express their concern to a chocolate company executive, or a candy store manager, etc.
