This template is designed to be folded in half so one side has the Chill Out Pass which a student can hand the teacher any time, and the other side includes examples of ways a student can calm themselves, which they can peruse at any time. I recommend laminating this!
This is a fantastic classroom resource to help with behaviour management, especially students that have difficulty coping with their emotions (anxiety, over thinkers, anger issues, etc.) - sometimes they just need a few minutes to chill out. Give this card to a student as a way for them to take back control over themselves and their emotions so they can make better choices. This is also handy if another teacher sees them wandering out as they will understand.
