This file contains all the cards necessary for a "Spot It" style game, using flags with the Pinyin translation below each flag. Spot It is a versatile game that helps students practice country names in Chinese, and associated grammar patterns. The way that my students like to play is to give each student one card, with the rest face down in a pile. On the count of three, the top card on the pile is turned over. The first student to recognize and say aloud which flag is similar between the card they are holding and the card on the pile, gets to take that card. Once the whole middle pile is gone, the student with the most cards in their hand is the winner. This file contains 13 pages, with a total of 49 cards. There are many ways to play games with these cards, so get creative! Very fun and engaging- students beg to play again!
