The focus of this activity is for students to practice summarizing, paraphrasing and quoting information using research skills. They also need to make connections between the various dynasties of China.

There are 61 websites with QR codes for students to use to research the various dynasties of China. By following the key questions, students collect evidence and display their findings on the display board. They then make connections about the dynasties by analyzing similarities and differences between the various periods of Chinese history. The end product will look like a crime scene board.
