The Chinese have a trade fair every year in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in China. I wanted my students to create a brochure as if they were an inventor set to introduce their product at the trade fair.
Originally I gave my students very limited direction and guidance, but when I received their finished product I realized that they needed more direction so I set out and looked at what I had hoped they would do for me but without having to read my mind. I also looked at the projects that made me happy to see what those students had done to give me what I wanted and went back and recreated my directions.
Students do not need the blank template to complete this activity. They can use a blank paper to create their brochure, but I know that some students need more direction so its there if you want or need it.
