Chip Chop Chippety Chop: A Song to Teach 6/8 Rhythms

Chip Chop Chippety Chop is a song file to teach students about 6/8 rhythms. This file includes the lyrics and melody to the song as well as ideas on how to use the game to teach dotted quarter note and three eight note rhythms. This activity can also be used to teach students to read and write the 6/8 rhythms. Included in this file are several different activities including “find the error” and “what rhythm am I playing”. I have also included worksheets for your students to practice writing rhythms and lyrics, too!
