Story elements and story retelling graphic organizer task cards- perfect for individual or small group, speech therapy and special education students

If your students are motivated by magnetic wands and chips, this resource provides an engaging way to practice story elements and story retell!
Each card contains a specific theme, but be used with any story or book. The student is asked to identify characters, setting, problem, and solution. They are then asked to explain what happened “first, next, then, and last” in the story.
The themes included are: fall, winter, spring, summer, back to school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Cinco de Mayo, 4th of July, fairy tales, weather, pirates, ancient Egypt, ancient Rome, Revolutionary War, World War II, Earth Day/ recycling, insects, farm, zoo, ocean, forest, pizza, spaghetti, ice cream, cooking, outer space, and sports.
To assemble: print, cut, hole punch, and laminate. Use a binder ring for easy storage.
