Welcome to the Chocolate Box Book Report. Everyone knows Chocolate Boxes sweeten up your day (especially Valentine’s day). This book report takes that fun and makes for a great project. Students write about a good book and draw a cute picture all on a chocolate box graphic. It makes a book report for “Sweet Reading” and tells students that “Reading is like a box of chocolates. . . You get a LOT of sweet choices.”
These worksheets will work well with any age of students, but especially with students from first grade through third grade. The first page is of a chocolate box saying “Reading is like a box of chocolates” that needs to be stapled to the second worksheet so the box can be “opened”. On the second worksheet, students choose a favorite book and write about it on a chocolate box graphic. After filling out information on book’s title, author, and illustrator, students can color a drawing of the book. They also write one or two words describing the book. All worksheets work great for displays or bulletin boards.
