Here is an open-ended game that you can use within your Valentine’s Day theme or food theme. Use in any way that you feel would best meet you and your students’ needs. I’ve used this game for targeting yes/no questions, WH questions, antonyms/synonyms and articulation.
Quick and Easy! Print and laminate!!
Instructions: Cut out chocolates and special cards, shuffle
together and place face down on the table. Give each
player a box of chocolates page. Players take turns either
answering questions or saying target articulation sounds
(or whatever you choose to use the game with) then draw a
card. If it’s a chocolate the player keeps it and puts in on
top of his/her box of chocolate. If it’s a special card, the
player must follow the direction on the card.
Special cards: Tooth Ache: Player must return said
number of his/her chocolates to the deck. Belly
Ache: Player must return all chocolates to the deck.
