Who DOESN’T love chocolate?? I know I’m a huge fan of the sweet stuff! I also know that if I put chocolate into ANY lesson in my class, I’ve automatically gotten my students’ attention. That’s one reason I made up this Chocolate Science packet! I hope you and your class have fun using chocolate to explore and practice using the Scientific Method!
This pack includes:
Making Observations: Hershey’s Kiss observations page
Sink or Float? Which candy bars will sink and which will float? (includes hypothesis cards for class graphing, teacher instructions, and a student scientist recording page)
Mouthwatering Melts: How long does it take for a Kiss to melt? (includes student scientist recording page and teacher instructions)
Mystery M&M’s: What will happen when we put M&M’s in water? (includes hypothesis cards for class graphing, a class graphing page, teacher instructions, and a student scientist recording page)
Chocolate Fun Facts Page for kids! Just some interesting facts about chocolate!
I've also included a few literature connection ideas, as well as a great video link.
Thank you so much!
