Use these templates to make custom choice boards for your students. You get two templates; one with 12 editable spaces, and one with 21. Label your board as you wish. Download images to your computer and import them into the template.
Use as a one-piece board the child/student points to in order to make requests. Or you can print and laminate a second copy and cut out the individual pictures to attach to the board. Put a strip of Velcro on the message window and the child/student can move the pictures up to make a sentence. You can also add a tongue depressor with velcro on it to the message window so the child can remove the sentence and hand to you if you would like.
***In order to edit you will need to have a PDF editing software program such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. However, I have a Mac computer and this program turns many (but not all) of my png images black, so I have to use jpg images when using this particular program. I also have to make sure they are saved as .jpg (versus .jpeg).
