Choice charts provide differentiation instruction to all students of different levels and learning styles. Students are able to choose from 8 different activities and all students will still be working on the same mathematical idea, but at the level of their choice. There will be no early finishers because students can complete an activity more than once, but with a different pattern. This gives the teacher time to help those that may be struggling. The choice chart may also be used again and again by simply changing a few activities to fit your new math strategy or unit. Included are follow-up questions to be used as a class discussion at the end of the class to reflect and connect their learning for the day.
