This product is a review of homonyms/homophones. It includes 20 task cards and two practices. One practice is to decide which homonym to use in each blank. The other practice is to edit a fable and change out the incorrectly used homonym for the correct one. The homonym activity for the fable is offered as a sheet where the homonyms are in bold print to make it easier for the students. It is also offered in a way that students have to find the homonyms on their own.
The activities in this packet can be used in a variety of ways. You can have the students play scoot with the task cards. You can use the task cards to introduce a unit by giving small groups of students cards to work on. You can add them to literacy centers, and you can have them work on them when they finish a task.
