How do you choose a large collection of STEM Challenges? What should you look for? This free resource is just for you! It outlines and compares the contents of my large STEM bundles.
Before you decide here are a few things to think about when purchasing STEM resources:
- Is the Engineering Design Process included? All of my STEM challenges focus on the design process and include the steps for you and the students. These are marked in the teacher’s guide and on the student work. The teacher’s guide walks you through each step with tons of hints about what you can expect,
- Are you a directions follower? I sure am and that is why all of my resources have a detailed Teacher’s Guide. Detailed- like pages of notes! If you don't need all the details you are free to follow your own style or do a little of both.
- Do you need some extra things? In my resources, you will find science information, scenarios for use, extensions, alternative ways to use the challenge, ways to differentiate, and tons of photos to help.
- How about making changes on the forms? Got you covered! The constraints, lab sheets, and scoring rubrics are all editable. (Yes, I said there are scoring rubrics included.)
- Are you looking at standards? All STEM Challenges satisfy the NGSS Standards - 3-5 ETS 1-1, 3-5 ETS 1-2, and 3-5 ETS 1-3. These are the engineering standards of NGSS and some other standards are applicable to some STEM challenges.
