Are you up on your French Revolution? Can Pierre save the girl? This is a fun and active way to give your students comprehensible input, and it requires very little preparation from you. It is great for days when you are not at 100%, since the students are doing most of the work. It could even work for a sub day. There is enough here for a whole lesson. Materials include: instructions on how to do running dictation, sentences for running dictation, video to correspond with activity, sequencing activities, and differentiated output activities. I have also included ideas for incorporating culture and history into the lesson in both French and English.
