Effective for elementary, middle school or high school chorus.
♪ Save your time and improve student behavior using either the student worksheet or teacher form. You may choose to have the student fill out the form in their seat, or designate a space somewhere in the back of your classroom for them to go.
♪ Introduce this at the beginning of the year and incorporate it into your classroom management plan. (Notice the worksheet and form include talking during warm-ups or during a song. This is specific to chorus.)
♪ Provides written documentation, should you need to pursue a discipline referral to an administrator in the future.
♪ When students are directed to fill out one of these, they take it more seriously than a verbal warning, for they know the teacher has written proof of their poor choice.
♪ I recommend you keep all your discipline worksheets in one binder or folder, alphabetically by student last name. You can quickly go there to see if this is their first documented offense.
♪ Save your voice! Once your students are aware that you will be using this worksheet or form, all you have to do is hand them one.
