Use this lap book to teach or review the Ten Commandments given to Moses by God on Mount Sinai. Great for 2nd-4th graders.
Kids will read and review what the Ten Commandments are. They will fill in the blanks to complete each commandment in a simple form on each flap.
Kids will answer questions about what a commandment is, why God gave the commandments to Moses, and apply what they've learned by answering these questions: "Which of the commandments is the hardest for you to keep? Why?"
Pictures are in black and white so students can color the handouts themselves.

God made the Earth and everything in it!
Students will look up verses in the Bible to match them with the given verse references. These references remind the students that God made the entire world and nothing is too big for God. God is our maker and our helper.
The first page of this lap book has a map for the kids to locate where they live, including which continent and which country they live in. God knows where each person lives and planned it that way.
The back of the lap book has place for the kids to draw events from the week of Creation.
This also makes a great Earth Day Activity and will remind the students that God made the whole Earth and that someday God will create a new Earth where there is no pain or crying or tears. Praise God!

Celebrate Jesus' Last Week! This fun lap book teaches kids all about Jesus' last week on Earth before His death and resurrection. In a simple to understand format, the kids will learn the major events of Jesus' last week on Earth before the first Easter Sunday.
Sunday - Palm Sunday
Monday - Jesus cleanses the temple
Tuesday - Jesus teaches the people
Wednesday - Jesus rests in Bethany
Thursday - The Last Supper
Friday - Jesus is crucified
Saturday - Guards watch over Jesus' tomb
Sunday - Jesus is resurrected
Kids will also write their own prayers thanking God for Jesus and asking for forgiveness of their own sins.
This is a great craft for Sunday School classes, Christian elementary school kids, or a fun homeschool idea. It's geared toward 1st - 4th graders. This makes a great Easter lesson or lesson about the Holy Week any time of the year.
Directions for Jesus' Last Week Lap Book
(These are included in the handout on page 7).
1. Print pages 1-7 of this hand out as double sided.
2. Fold along the solid black lines.
3. Cut along the dashed lines. Cut out the Jesus figure.
4. Fold a piece of construction paper in thirds, with the flaps meeting in the middle.
5. Glue “The Week That Led to Easter” words and picture on the front of the folded construction paper. (One half of the Jesus picture will go on each folded flap.)
6. Open the flaps. Glue the day flaps in order on the opened flaps. Have kids fill in the appropriate blanks.
7. Paste the "Thank You Prayer” in the middle. Children will fill out their own prayer.
