Valentine's Day is a great time to teach kids to be kind and loving to one another. This fun fill-in-the blanks Valentine's Day game is based on Jesus' teaching that the greatest commandment is to love God and the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbors.
This product comes with two pages--the story and the page with the category of words.
The kids will get a hoot out of the hilarious stories they create. This lesson would be great for a Christian or Catholic school or Sunday School lesson. It would also be fun to use for a Valentine's Day party.
It's best to play this game in pairs. One person asks his/her partner to name something in the appropriate category. That person writes down what the other person says in the appropriate blank. When they are finished, they read the story out loud to their friend. Take turns and switch roles so each person gets a chance to be in each role.
