Christmas ***** Christmas **** Christmas FREE ***** Christmas Polka Dot Calendar Numbers PDF File
Involve your students in your interactive calendar by asking them to place the date on the calendar each morning. Discuss the small Christmas images seen on the number cards.
For the month of December, fashion 7 lengths of ribbon (for each day of the week) on a bulletin board and organize these numbers in like the calendar.
No month posters are included, only small number cards.
You may also like to use the cards for small group work to reinforce numeral identification and basic counting skills.
Lay out all of your numbers in order on the floor, as it appears on the calendar for the current month. Ask the birthday children to come and stand next to their birthday date. Count how many days until each birthday and how old they will be. See if students can then determine what day each student’s birthday falls on by comparing their birth date to the calendar. Ask all children to sit down and then see if they know of any special events, holidays, celebrations or other occurrences that will be happening in the given month.
You could also use the small number cards for your Christmas book box labels. See our Christmas book bin labels for more. Click here
