This is a simple activity you can place into your literacy stations for students to practice putting words into ABC order. Just laminate and cut cards. Place cards into envelopes or bags according to their sets.
It is a differentiated activity with some sets being alphabetized to the first or second letter, and other sets up to the third or fourth letter. There is one set that contains words that all begin with the same letter, and alphabetizes up to the sixth letter. There is a set of religious words related to Christmas, and a set to alphabetize the names of all Santa's reindeer.
There is a total of 60 cards
(6 sets with 10 cards in each set).
Students place the words in order and then record their answers on the answer sheet. An answer key is provided for each set if you would like students to be able to self-check their work.
