This packet includes 30 projects to keep your students busy in the classroom this Christmas! All activities will help with fine motor and prewriting skills as well as create decorative elements for your displays!
I have made 10 Christmas pictures and provided them in 3 different activity variations.
1. Big Shape Tracing - students trace a large outer 'shape' followed by internal pattern lines. Perfect for practicing essential handwriting skills. Big shape tracing and pattern lines are a perfect early writing activity. Complete these with pencil - or use glitter glue to make an interesting Christmas artwork
2. Pinning - otherwise known as 'Pokey Pin' - this activity sees students used jumbo pins to prick each dot on the design. Add a nice colorful thick card backing to the paper, and then turn into an artwork by hanging on the window
3. Cut and Paste Picture - students can shade the individual pieces of each design, cut and paste them like a puzzle to complete a picture. Enlarge them on large paper and turn the activity into an artwork!
The included designs are:
1. Christmas tree
4. Santa's house
6. gingerbread man
9. Santa's sack
