NOW UPDATED! New version includes a snowflake-themed alternative activity for students who do not celebrate Christmas. There is also a full-color sign included as a title for your bulletin board.
In this engaging grammar activity, students think of a gift that they would like to have for Christmas. They will then fill in the ornaments on the tree with specific adjectives that describe the gift. A thesaurus could be used to find adjectives if you wish. A bonus box allows for the activity to be turned into a writing assignment. Additional directions are included, with an illustration, for using this assignment on a holiday bulletin board.
If you like the activity, please leave feedback and check out my other products. I have many holiday themed resources in my catalog, including a gingerbread themed holiday resource pack. Keep up with all of my latest creations by following me on Teachers Pay Teachers or becoming a fan of my store on Facebook!
Please do not copy this activity for an entire grade level or school. If your colleagues like the activity, please send them to Teachers Pay Teachers!
