This Christmas Around the World unit is perfect for your preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade students.

Each page represents a different country and has an interactive activity to match. Students will tape down pieces, cut and glue things in, or draw things you specify. (Or use the no cut and glue option where the students just color the pictures).

Countries represented with Christmas are:

  • Sweden (St. Lucia Day)

The book starts by acknowledging that all of the holidays are celebrated in all of the countries but these are some of the different traditions certain countries may have:

  • America, France, Netherlands, Brazil, England, Italy, Australia, Germany, - Christmas
  • America also has a page for Kwanzaa
  • Israel - Hanukkah
  • China - Chinese New Year
  • Saudi Arabia - Ramadan
  • India - Diwali
  • Mexico - Las Posadas
  • Sweden - St. Lucia Day

  • A general page about how we celebrate all holidays all over the world.
  • Coloring page options if you don't want to do the crafts. (NO CRAFTING OPTION)

Please note: We give you Christmas Around the World and Holidays Around the World as optional titles for this unit. Holidays like Hanukkah and Ramadan are not Christmas. Please choose your title responsibly so you are being respectful to all religions and cultures. Thank you.
