This is a set of resources, by Sara Ipatenco, that help you teach about Christmas in Mexico. The set includes a 10-page easy reader book that gives simple facts about Christmas in Mexico, such as what Santa Claus is called and what foods Mexican people eat. The little book includes sight words and uses repeated text to help with fluency practice. I’ve included a color copy of the book, as well as a black and white version that your students can color themselves. The set also includes a flip book with activities on each page. Students will write “Merry Christmas” in Spanish, color the Spanish Three Wise Men, match definitions of traditional food to pictures, and read a Christmas legend and answer comprehension questions. This set is perfect for your Christmas Around the World unit! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!!
